Left wing, right wing: what about no wings?

I'm tired of this whole left and right wing perspectives. Can't people just have his or her own opinion on things? Sure, their opinions would be influenced by their backgrounds; whether they came from south or north, Americans or Asians, Democrats or Republics--but, don't people have their own innate opinions? Can't people create an original opinion without being influenced by society?

What society tells us is to divide things. Good or bad, right or wrong, white or black, left or right, pro or con--society complicates things. I'm sure people who are reading this are just thinking that I'm too naive. Well yes, I'm still 18 but I have my own views. In Indonesia, we don't have to divide between left and right. However, we have pro-Soekarno or pro-Soeharto. I suggest that this thing is actually weird. I can't decide whether I'm pro Soekarno or Soeharto, but obviously, I am pro-my parents.

To tell you the truth, I have to correct what I wrote in the previous paragraph. Honestly, I don't have my own views. I'm being influenced by my parents, teachers, friends, media, and even random people on the street. I divide things. I stereotype. I prejudice. I want these to stop; but I can't. These things have already engraved in me. I know that I should not stereotype people, but sometimes it's fun. Categorizing people is fun. However, we should be aware that we might ended up being judged by people. Moreover, when we've finally found out that we were wrong, we fell guilty. And that's the part that I don't like.

What's the point of categorizing people? Is it to make your life easier? No. You're complicating your life! For instance, a person tend to avoid others because he believes that some people would treat him just as what he's been predicted. And, when he avoid the others, others would think that he is something of sorts and would react the same as him, and it goes on and on and become self-fulfilling prophecy to him. This is psychologically speaking. What happens in real life is much more harsh. People received complains by being left. A crowd neglects a victim of an assault because they have different races. It keeps going on because people are behaving exactly as what other people think of them.

It is why being passive is the best option for people. 'I like being passive. Ignorance is recommended. Just leave me alone and I would do the same to you. I won't be needing help from you because your views are different from me.'

But I guess, left-wing and right-wing views are necessary. We all know that it takes both sides of the wings to fly an airplane (plus the tail wing, but I won't use it right now because it'll ruin my attempt to be philosophical). The same does occur in order to maintain the balance of a government, society, or human. But still, I can't choose one.

Can I just have my own ideology? I'll name my ideology after my middle name. Abigailism. Abigailism is an ideology where no one should divide things; where no one have different views; where everything is consonant with each other; where everything is in between, grey, and mediocre; where everyone dependent on each other; an ideology based on love--mediocre love.

But wouldn't that be boring?
